ALERT 82/26 MSCIO has received information regarding an incident at 20:00 UTC on 22 July 2026, approximately 70NM southwest of Al Shuqaiq, Saudi Arabia. The Master of a tanker reported that the vessel was struck by an unknown projectile, resulting in a fire onboard. The crew is currently engaged in firefighting operations. No casualties or environmental pollution have been reported. Authorities are investigating the incident.
