ALERT 05/26 TYPE: ATTACK 01MAR2026 0805UTC 26° 13' 12.3" N, 055° 55' 43.1" E An incident has been reported approximately 17 NM northwest of Mina Saqr, United Arab Emirates. According to initial reports, a vessel was reportedly struck by an unidentified projectile, resulting in a fire onboard. The fire was subsequently extinguished and the vessel is continuing its voyage. Authorities are investigating. Vessels are advised to exercise extreme caution when transiting the area, maintain strict adherence to BMP-MS, and report any suspicious activity to MSCIO and UKMTO.
