ALERT 50/26 On 10 May 2026 at 03:01 UTC, an incident reportedly occurred 23NM northeast of Doha involving a Bulk Carrier that was reportedly struck by an unidentified projectile. The impact caused a small fire which was subsequently extinguished, and no casualties have been reported. Authorities are currently investigating the incident. Vessels operating in the area are strongly advised to transit with caution, maintain heightened vigilance, adhere to BMP-MS and report any suspicious activity to MSCIO and UKMTO.
