ALERT 68/26 MSCIO has received information regarding an incident at approximately 08:30 UTC on 27 June 2026, approximately 22NM off Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, in the Strait of Hormuz. A crude oil tanker reported being struck by a drone on the starboard bridge wing. The vessel sustained minor damage and continued its passage. No casualties were reported. Vessels operating in the area are advised to maintain heightened vigilance, adhere to BMP-MS, and report immediately any suspicious activity or relevant information to MSCIO and UKMTO.
